Dyneema® is a unique high-tech fabric used in crucial areas of Spartan Delta garments to optimize durability and reduce the risk of abrasion wounds during intense workouts and races. Fusing polyethylene with cutting-edge molecular engineering, the Dyneema® fiber is the strongest and lightest fiber in the world. The Dyneema® fiber is 15 times stronger than steel, floats on water and is soft as silk. As a result, the Dyneema® fiber prevents the fabric from rupturing when going deep with logs, ropes or other Spartan Race elements, protecting the skin and thereby reducing the risk of injuries.
